MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

The membership fee is currently R200 (Joining fee once off) and R1200 per member per year. This covers all obedience training.

We accept all German Shepherd Dogs plus other breeds for obedience training.

They need not be registered with KUSA. The club reserves the right to inspect a dog before admittance for training..

Members must be at least 12 years old and physically capable of handling a fully grown dog.

The person who applies for membership must be the person handling the dog. This membership is not transferable. Non-members are not permitted to participate in training sessions.

Before applying for membership make sure that your puppy or dog is fully vaccinated against infectious diseases.  

Please make sure you bring a vaccination certificate when applying for membership.

Puppies start training at around 3 or 4 months of age  one week after final vaccination.

If your puppy or dog is older than 6 months when you first apply for membership then he or she will go straight into the appropriate obedience class.

The puppy or dog must be equipped with the correct chain and lead (these are available at the club).
